VIEW OUR RECENT PROJECTS

RCC assisted in the renovation of the T2 NW Coast Hall space where we performed the concrete floor repair. The work included chopping the existing concrete at existing stanchion posts that were no longer needed, along with an associated repair and infilling of these areas. Upon completion of the work, the space will be primed and ready to take on its next exhibit for the public eye.

AMERICAN MUSEUM OF NATURAL HISTORY

Assisted in the concrete renovation of the MOMA buildings 45W & 53W; which included the encasement of steel beams, F&I of concrete ramps over Styrofoam buildups, and infill of metal pan stairs including setting the nosing in place on each tread. RCC generated an engineered design along with CDM to create plans for, and ultimately provide an acoustically isolated slab on the 4th floor. The state-of-the-art system will create a unique studio experience for those lucky enough to visit/use the space.

The Stavros Niarchos Foundation Library (NYPL MML) underwent a complete renovation and RCC played an integral role between 2018 and 2020 in the renovation. RCC provided structural concrete infills throughout on all floors of the building. RCC, in conjunction with HAQQ Rebar, created a BIM model of the roof drainage system to coordinate a complex system. RCC is proud to have also performed the complete overhaul of the sidewalks, curbs, and corners on E39th St/E40th St/5th Ave by 455 5th Avenue per BPP plans.

WORLD TRADE CENTER 3 (WTC3)

RCC provided a polished concrete surface as part of the WTC3 renovation. The work was completed with the use of SWAC approved individuals onsite.

NYU LANGONE MEDICAL CENTER - COBBLE HILL - TISCH HOSPITAL

RCC is undertaking the concrete scopes required for the new NYU LMC Cobble Hill hospital space. The work includes the pinning of decks for the structural slab concrete placement. The work spans over 7 floors in addition to the work needed placing concrete curbs/parapets, pads, and walls. Our scope includes a removeable/knockout slab which has been engineered by RCC with the help of DHC Engineering. The special slab will allow vehicular traffic as needed by the loading dock ramp but can be removed by lifting to aid in loading larger materials/equipment into the cellar space.

FORDHAM UNIVERSITY

Along with the structural slab infills performed at this space over multiple floors; RCC provided (3) critical formed concrete items that required engineered shoring designs. A concrete slab (with varying radius/contour) and a beam was formed, shored, and poured during construction to tie the old and new buildings together. Additionally, an architectural CIP stair was similarly formed and poured to provide access throughout the newly constructed space; this stair is now being used as the model example for the renovation being performed imminently at the sister space for the Fordham University McGinley Center.
